Ana Kristina Gasteyer - American comedian, actor and singer - is a comedian. Her most well-known work was being a frequent cast member of the sketch comedy program on NBC's Saturday Night Live between 1996 between 1996 and 2002. Since then, she has appeared on sitcoms, including ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto as well as the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer started her career as a student at Northwestern University she initially enrolled as a voice major however she later decided to pursue theater studies once she decided to join the campus improv comedy group. The spirit of the group has been carried throughout her numerous parts in supporting roles like the extremely controlled Sheila Shay (agent), in Lady Dynamite, and the bizarre Karen Grisham.
